Background

Two Rivers Indexing (formerly known as Editorial Services Company) has been in business since 1980. Our indexing business has evolved from hand-written entries on index cards, alphabetized and typed manually, to our current practice of using state-of-the-art software for indexing, spell-checking, and file transmission.

At present, we use CINDEX™ software from Indexing Research for development of indexes. This software allows us to produce indexes in a wide variety of styles and formats, including plain text (.doc and .rtf) and standard tagging systems such as HTML, Association of American Publishers (AAP), and the University of Chicago Press (UCP).

In our 25 years of business, we have handled projects of all sizes on a wide variety of topics. Our particular strength is in medical publishing, but we are experienced in numerous other areas, including literature, history, information technology, and social sciences. We actively seek opportunities in all areas of scholarly and popular publication.

Normally we work with project managers and production staff at major publishers, but we also have experience in working directly with authors. We would be happy to discuss your project requirements with you, regardless of your level of expertise.
